This page explains how to delete your GO account and the data linked to it. It applies to the GO app by Mendifier Innovations Ltd ("Mendifier", "we", "us").
Delete in the app
- Open the GO app and go to Settings.
- Tap Delete account ("Ask GO to permanently remove your account").
- Confirm with Request deletion.
Your account shows "Deletion pending" and stays active until GO reviews the request. You can cancel the request before it is processed.
Delete without the app
Email help@mendifier.com from the email on your account, or call +234 700 766 4663, with your name and phone number. We will verify that you own the account before deleting it.
What is deleted
Your profile, contact details, saved places, trusted contacts and identity documents are deleted or anonymised.
What we may keep
Some records, such as trip and payment records, safety reports and data needed to prevent fraud, may be kept for as long as the law requires, as described in the Privacy Policy. A wallet balance should be withdrawn before deletion.
